In "how Cheap Is Ruinning Our Lives"by Mary Elizabeth Williams.The author argue that buying cheap stuff is not a good thing.We see the price to be low and rush to buy it.We pay less for a product and it dont last long.

I agree with Mary Elizabeth Williams that cheap stuff is ruinning our lives because they dont last long and we have to replace them everytime when we can buy the expensive one and it will last long.

They dont last long
EXAMPLE :like furniture.My uncle bought a furniture less than its actual prize it didnt last for a year and got broken.

In Let Them Eat Fat"Critser argues how fastfood and restaurant have been the object of critism by nutritionist and dietitions.According to Critiser the fastfood has increase publicly and they are targeting the poor inner city communities.The fastfood have increase and the calories have increase from 680 to more than 1,340 calories.
After reading this article,i tink people should really consider the nutrition facts in fastfoods,because they are not serving us the right kind of nutrition that the body needs to function well.As Critser stated in in the article,"the total caloric content of the meal has been jacked up from 680 calories to more than 1,340 calories.,that is affecting our health.The fastfood contain more fat and carbohydrate and less in protein.
Eating a lot of fastfood can lower your daily physical activities,because we we dont take in the right kind of nutrition we need ,for instance i have experinced it,i was into fastfood,i ate it mostly daily and i put on weight and my physical activity was dropped.Fastfood know how to get their way with people so they use the word "supersizing"meaning they will make the food in super size and everything will be doubled the regular size.We get so euphoric about the whole optimum of supersizing our meal but instead we supersizing our bodies.
They have the sign "if we dont recommend a supersize,the supersize is free",nothing in this world is free,they make the food in such a way that you pay a little extra but we wouldnt care as long as we get it in a supersize,but that also a nice and neat way to get money from us.I hope fastfoods will change their nutrition fact.

blog 10 "WHERE THE WHALE BE AT"

African Americans are particulary the first and foremost the people of the land as farmers.Historically,most communities start out as farm communities because of this, people lived in close contact with the land.The white man does not understand our ways one of the portion of the land is the same to him as the next.He is a stranger who comes in the night to take from the land whatever he needs.Black people dont have the same access to healthy resouces as the whites because, people of color live in environment that are toxic that cause severe health problems.



The government in general dont care for people of color especially blacks,whether educational,health,or environmental issues.As the writter stated in the article about corner stores is mostly found in black and hispanic communities.I will be in agreeyance with it because,i personally have seen that trend of corner stores being in largely african americans communities.It may be convienient for the people who live in the neighborhood but bad for our health.A short distance walk to a coner store as compared to walk half a mile to a supermarket.
Black neighborhood mainly consist of tall buildings,little or no trees.justt as terry stated in the article,parks in white areas are far larger than in colored areas.

according to jake simms and larry magid, two young students got arrested on september 28th for cyberbulling one of their roomate tyler clementi,by uploading images of clementi and another man live on the internet.The cyberbullier tought he was doing it for fun but he didnt know it will end the life of clementi.This one of the reason people commit suicide.
this is very heartbreaking,how can a fellow human do this to another human being,this insane.The net has become a reality for adults and children in the worl.people say and do things online that they cant do in in real person.
tyler clementi death is not technolgy,he was killed by human beings beacuse everybody was looking at him on the net making out with a dude,which he thought was suppose to be private but somebone close to him reveiled his privacy to the whole world."cyberbullies can inflict mental anguish that can hurt worse than physical wounds because a cybeattacks can reach a vast audiance and it can haunt the victim forever"i agree with that because tyler clementi knew once its on the net the whole world will know about it and it can haunt hime for the rest of his life so he rather committed suicide by jumping from the top of george washington bridge into the hudson river,he ended his life because of cybebullies.

what isint fake about most of the things on earth?beauty is suppose to be  natural but now in order to be beautiful you have to put on fake stuff like,fake booty pads,padded bras,fake everything.the human ideas of attractiveness always has some element of  fakeness.i chose this one because its taking much of female natural beauty like in the video below, the lady didnt  get attension from the guy simply because she doesnt have anything fake on,but the moment she came back with the fake booty pads the guy showed some attraction.

the computer unlike books,helps in the safe and reliable record keeping ,it helps accuracy and sanity in discharging particular duties.it also serve as a back up every information can be retrieved when needed. it also saves time,and help speed up work. Christians are of the view that the world was created by god  while others think the world is an illusion and i think the computer describe the world as such because  the computer is a man made and perceives the world by its demographic features and chemical components.

TV is the single most influential  medium of communication. the images that appears on the TV present filter into the heads of millions of viewers and it becomes a part of the viewers outlook of life.television today is far from  a stage where characters are shown equality.while this equality is a dream for many it can only become reality when we all work together to figure whats behind the TV.i chose the TV because it has a dramatic impact on society

revised blog 4"Allegory of the cave"

        In Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave,” Socrates  is describing the life of prisoners who was forced to look up straight can not move and their head to see whats around them. Living in the cave all they could see was the shadow projected on the wall in front of them. Socrates then explained how they didn't believe him when he told them what goes on outside the cave. The prisoners where blinded and did not know what goes on in the world once they discovered the truth they where finding it difficult to believe and they find it had to believe the sun and everything on earth really exist. due to their ignorance they refuse to accept the truth.

       In Plato's ''allegory of the cave, ''Socrates is telling a symbolic story about prisoners who couldn't see anything but their shadow and echoes of people walking.All their lives they lived in a cave so their believe is things on earth  like the sun don't exit.Based on Socrates story the prisoners believe his story from outside the cave is dangerous so they did not believe him due to their ignorance.

BLOG 4 MY PLACE IN THE CAVE

If i was a prisoner i would be curious to find out what is outside the cave.Being chained in the dark all i can hear is echoes and things around but i cant see them.Ignorance of people in this world reminds me of the"cave,how we always want to remain where we are simply because we know  alot of things about where we have being for a long time.When we move on to see how things are different in our life's we sit back and pity ourselves for being blind before.for example,when i was growing up i didn't want to make friends i was in my own world ignoring everybody that comes my way but when i came out of my own ignorance and realized that  i need friends to be there for me it was not easy but i had to tell myself this is the time for me to come out from being blind and experience my new life.

• I have to read and understand the reading passage and also identify the author's  main ideas.

• I have to be organized and check all my spellings and grammar and also know how to use my word choice and vocabulary well.

           Advertisment is an exhibition to sell a product. The passage is basically talking about how everywhere you set your eyes has become  a place for advertisment. there is no product without a logo ot ads of a product.everywhere is full of logos and ads,examples are ads for shoes,clothes, and hair. Advertisement has increased in this morden world so quickly.

          In the passage the most significant and important thing the author is telling us is,usually ads can be seen on buses,billboards,stadiums, but everyday an estimated 12 billion display of ads 3millions on radio commercials and more on tv commercials.eveywhere you set your eyes there must be an ad.Walking in  a store the first thing you set your eyes on in front of the door is an ad for some of the  product they have in the store.they make the ads inoder for us to buy more stuff.Before you go to the movies you muct have seen an ad for that particular movie example,avator,carade kid.They just show us the ad for us to know what and who exactly is in the movie.Driving along the roadside you will see an ad,walking a long or short distance you will see an ad.When you purchase something at the store the receipt comes with an ad,banks has an ad for upgrades.You pay a phone bill and you get ad with the reciept.There is no way you can escape from an ad or a logo.It help people to buy more so it has become more advanced.
